Isabel Faria is the head of the NORMALAB calibration laboratory, specializing in volume metrology. She has extensive experience in quality management systems, standardization, and is a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma. For the past three decades, she has actively participated in national and international technical standardization committees mainly in the fields of  medical devices and laboratory equipment, with involvement in drafting the most recent version of the ISO 8655 series standards. She is an auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO/IEC 17025 management systems, a trainer, and a consultant.
