ADEIM is a non-profit public utility association based at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the

University of Lisbon, which aims to develop research and teaching in all areas of microbiology. The Faculty of Pharmacy has always been a privileged partner of ADEIM, with which maintains a very close scientific and educational collaboration. The close proximity to the Faculty facilitates direct collaboration, allowing the creation of multidisciplinary teams, as well as providing a range of services, equipment and laboratory spaces that are fundamental to the success of ADEIM's activities. Through its highly qualified staff, ADEIM is dedicated to helping organizations and companies by providing microbiological quality control services for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and environment, in line with established international standards. With a strategy focused on development and quality, ADEIM advocates a regular policy of technological modernization, establishing partnerships and training its human resources in its areas of expertise, improving its performance and meeting customer requirements and adhering to applicable regulations. In accordance with this, since April 2019, ADEIM has been recognised by INFARMED, with GMP Certification and Manufacturing Authorisation for Non-Sterile products.
