Association of Portuguese Accredited Laboratories, was founded in 1991, with the aim of representing, on a national and international level, all types of Laboratories on economical, technical and political issues and promoting Quality as a key-element for the competitiveness of Laboratories.

Our main goal is to promote communication with state organisms, regulators and other entities that influence the sustainability and the success of the Laboratories. It encompasses also the coordination of Associative and communication projects as well as complementary services that intend to answer the growing needs and expectations of the Laboratorialcommunity.

The affiliation in national institutions constitutes an important reference in a broader Associative Model, of particular importance in business and industrial activity, strongly connected to laboratorial activity.
